Job Summary
The Human Resources Manager is responsible for assisting leaders in developing and advancing appropriate strategic and organizational goals. Serves as the primary contact for all HR related initiatives. Serves as an expert in the full cycle of the HR operations for the client group and is responsible for understanding the business goals and needs of their departments. Provides clients with consulting services in the areas of talent management, leadership coaching and support. Leads their HR team to address associate relations, recruitment, performance management and solutions to promote the business need.Pay Range
Minimum $95,098 Midpoint $126,006 Maximum $156,894Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements.
Experience
* Required: Minimum five (5) years of professional level Human Resources Business Partner or Generalist experience ORin lieu of years of five (5) years of experience, must demonstrate strong strategic and business skills and have successfully contributed towards or implemented new strategies beyond assigned client groups, across the enterprise.
* Preferred: Five (5) – seven (7) years of professional level Human Resources Generalist experience, two (2) years’ healthcare experience.
Education
* Required: Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent experience.
* Preferred: Master's Degree in related field.
Training
* Required: Skill consulting and coaching leadership. Knowledge of all Human Resources functions. Skilled with resolving conflicts. Ability to analyze HR data to provide valuable insights. Able to read; write and speak with professional quality; use computer and software programs necessary for the position, e.g., Word, Excel, Power Point, Access; operate/troubleshoot basic office equipment required for the position. Able to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others; provide leadership; be assertive and consistent in enforcing policies; work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure; lead, supervise, teach, and collaborate; accept direction. Able to communicate effectively in English in person, in writing, and on the telephone; think critically; work independently; perform basic math and statistical functions; manage multiple assignments; compose written material; work well under pressure; problem solve; organize and prioritize workload; recall information with accuracy; pay close attention to detail.

* Required: Demonstrated strong consulting and leadership coaching skills. Demonstrated knowledge of all Human Resources functions. Advanced communications skills and ability to communicate well with all levels of the organization demonstrating tact, diplomacy and sensitivity. Demonstrated strong critical thinking skills, decision-making and proven relationship skills. Advanced multi-tasking capabilities- must be able to effectively prioritize competing demands. Experience in conflict resolution and basic business acumen skills. Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills including the ability to build relationships quickly and connect well with others.
Preferred: Preferred knowledge of Workday HRIS system.
Licensure
* Required: None required.
* Preferred: SHRM, PHR, or SPHR certification. California Driver’s License may be required based on assigned client groups.
