Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented HR Generalist with a specialization in recruitment and employee relations. This role will be integral in supporting the organization’s talent acquisition strategies and fostering a fair, consistent, and positive employee experience. The HR Generalist will partner with department leaders and employees to deliver responsive, people-focused HR services.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment and Talent Acquisition
- Develop and implement recruiting strategies to attract top talent, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates for various positions.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, draft job descriptions, and create tailored recruitment plans.
- Manage job postings on internal and external platforms, ensuring visibility and reach to target audiences.
- Build and maintain a talent pipeline through proactive networking, job fairs, and industry events.
- Coordinate pre-employment processes, including background checks and reference verifications.
- Support and enhance onboarding efforts to ensure a seamless new hire experience.
Employee Relations
- Serve as a trusted resource for employees and managers on workplace concerns, policies, and employee relations matters.
- Support timely, objective workplace investigations and document findings and recommended actions.
- Coach managers on performance management, corrective action, conflict resolution, and consistent policy application.
- Partner with the VP, HR on employee engagement, retention, and workplace culture initiatives.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee relations records and support compliance with applicable employment laws and regulations.
General HR Support
- Participate in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Contribute to HR projects and initiatives as needed, including employee engagement, diversity and inclusion efforts, and organizational development.
Work Experience
- 5-7 years of experience in human resources, with a focus on recruitment and/or employee relations.
Education/Training
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field required.
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred.
Skills/Capabilities/Technical
- Broad understanding of key principles and practices in Human Resources Management
- Strong understanding of best practices in recruitment, including sourcing and screening strategies and technology
- Knowledge of employee relations practices, including workplace investigations, performance management, conflict resolution, and employment law compliance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
- Experience with ADP or other HRIS preferred

Compensation & Benefits
CTA is committed to transparency and equitable pay practices. The anticipated salary range for this position is $100,000 – $115,000, with final compensation determined based on experience, skills, and internal equity. This role may be eligible for bonus or additional compensation, where applicable.
