The Manger – HRBP (Human Resources Business Partner) serves as a strategic partner to business and site leadership, aligning people strategies with organizational objectives to drive business performance, employee engagement, and operational excellence. This role provides leadership and consultation in talent management, workforce planning, employee relations, organizational development, compensation, and change management within a dynamic industrial environment.
Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Labor Relation, Business Administration, Organizational Development or a related field. Master’s Degree preferred Minimum of seven (7) years of progressive Human Resources experience, including employee relations, talent management, organizational development, compensation, performance management and workforce planning. Minimum of three (3) years of HR leadership experience supporting industrial or chemical manufacturing, refining, energy or other complex operational environments. Demonstrated success partnering with business leaders to develop and implement human capital strategies that drive business performance and organizational growth. Experience using HR analytics and workforce data to support strategic decisions. Strong business acumen, communication, consultation and relationship management skills Strong employee relations background.
Preferred Qualifications SHRM-SCP, SHRM-CP, SPHR, PHR or equivalent professional certification preferred. Supervision, team leadership, coaching or mentoring preferred. Experience with Workday or comparable HRIS system preferred.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, use hands to touch, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. This position also requires sound judgment and the ability to perform activities requiring sustained concentration.
The noise level in the work environment is sometimes moderate in office settings. Some work may be required in operating units, where use of required personal protective equipment, including safety glasses and hearing protection, is mandatory. The role may involve exposure to outdoor elements and may require the use of stairs and elevators. Occasional travel by air or automobile may be required.
