Responsibilities

• Coach people managers on leadership, org design, and performance concerns.
• Provide strategic consulting and workforce planning to Global Payment Network client groups.
• Support core HR processes including performance, talent management, leadership development, and change management.

The Global Payment Network is looking for a Manager HRBP to work with the International Markets clients to deliver on people initiatives and talent strategy. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong relationship building, influencing, communication, and problem solving skills; who thrives in a fast paced, collaborative, and values-oriented team.

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients, other HRBPs, and HR partner groups (people analytics, recruiting, compensation, tech talent, AR, diversity & inclusion) to effectively execute on people strategy, HR processes, and reporting
• Partner with clients to build effective relationships, effectively manage stakeholders, and understand business imperatives to effectively execute on HR solutions that are aligned to the business needs
• Consult with associates, managers, and HR partners who require assistance on HR-related issues
• Coach people managers on situations including general leadership skills, org design, and performance concerns
• Responsible for providing strategic consulting and workforce planning to client groups within Global Payment Network and delivering an HR strategy that is aligned with the business needs
• Support the planning and delivery of core HR processes ranging from performance & talent management, leadership development, to change management and organizational design
• Support senior leaders on key areas such as building an inclusive and diverse team, creating a culture of belonging, and acting as a sounding board for all associates to encourage cross pollination, collaboration, and high performance

This role is designated as a hybrid position. You are expected to adhere to Capital One's hybrid policy regarding required on-site presence at your designated office location.

Basic Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
• At least 3 years of client facing experience OR at least 3 years of consulting experience OR a combination
• At least 3 years of experience in Human Resources

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or military experience
• Professional Human Resources Certification or Senior Professional Human Resources certification or coaching certification
• 5+ years of client facing experience or 5+ years of consulting experience or a combination
• 4+ years of experience in in Human Resources or Human Capital Consulting
• HR business partnering experience with global client groups

McLean, VA: $151,900 - $173,400 for Manager, HR Business Partner

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
