Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership, supervision, coaching, and professional development opportunities for staff.
  • Ensure all employees and volunteers are properly trained in client confidentiality, safety protocols, case management practices, and program procedures.
  • Assist the Director in developing, implementing, and maintaining a centralized case management program across CCEOK.
  • Assign clients seeking long-term assistance to appropriate Case Managers based on client needs and available resources.
  • Conduct regular supervisory meetings with Case Managers, review active cases, and provide guidance on planning, documentation, referrals, and client outcomes.
  • Provide approvals for Disaster Line applicants and oversee the appropriate distribution of emergency assistance.
  • Conduct regular team meetings, providing staff with direction, support, problem-solving, and opportunities for collaboration.
  • Monitor program effectiveness and outcomes, collecting and analyzing data to evaluate impact and identify improvements.
  • Build, recruit, develop, train, and supervise a strong team of volunteer case workers.

Position Description

This full-time, benefited position is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the Household Stability program. This includes providing compassionate, dignified, and efficient assistance to individuals and families in crisis, consistent with Catholic social teaching. The Manager supervises program employees and volunteers, oversees case management and disaster line activities, develops and maintains relationships with community partners, assists with program budget management, and ensures compliance with all applicable funding and program requirements.

The Manager will also assist the Director in developing, implementing, and maintaining acentralized case management program throughout Catholic Charities of Eastern Oklahoma (CCEOK). This position will help establish consistent case management practices, processes, documentation, referral systems, and standards across programs to promote continuity of care and effective client outcomes.

The Manager will provide leadership and oversight for volunteer engagement within the Household Stability program, including recruiting, training, developing, supervising, and retaining volunteers serving as case workers and in other program roles.

The Household Stability program provides holistic care that helps individuals and families achieve stability, resilience, and long-term thriving.

Ministerial
  • As a ministerial representative of CCEOK, maintain professional and personal conduct that aligns with the ethical and moral standards of the Catholic Church
  • Pray daily for the needs of the poor through personal prayer, daily Mass, and/or adoration
  • Be willing to learn and apply Catholic teaching in this role
  • Help foster a shared culture of ministry across program operations and management
Leadership

  • Conduct regular supervisory meetings with Case Managers, review active cases, and provide guidance regarding case planning, documentation, referrals, and client outcomes
  • Provide approvals for Disaster Line applicants and oversee the appropriate distribution of emergency assistance
  • Conduct regular team meetings, providing staff with direction, support, problem-solving assistance, and opportunities for collaboration
  • Monitor program effectiveness and outcomes, collecting and analyzing data to evaluate program impact and identify opportunities for improvement
Volunteer Leadership and Engagement
  • Build, recruit, develop, train, and supervise a strong team of volunteer case workers to support the Household Stability program and broader Catholic Charities case management efforts
  • Recruit and onboard volunteers based on program needs, volunteer skills, experience, availability, and areas of interest
  • Provide ongoing guidance, supervision, encouragement, and support to current volunteers serving in a variety of roles within the Household Stability program
  • Develop and coordinate training and orientation opportunities to ensure volunteers are equipped to effectively serve clients and understand Catholic Charities policies and procedures
  • Match volunteers with appropriate roles and responsibilities and identify opportunities to expand meaningful volunteer involvement within the program
  • Provide regular communication, feedback, recognition, and support to promote volunteer engagement, satisfaction, and retention
  • Serve as a primary resource and point of contact for Household Stability volunteers, responding to questions and helping address challenges or concerns
  • Oversee the Furniture/Household volunteer program and other volunteer-supported initiatives within the program
  • Collaborate with the Director and other program leaders to identify and develop new volunteer opportunities that strengthen client services and program capacity
Budget Management/Fund Sourcing
  • Assist the Director in developing and managing the program budget, ensuring responsible stewardship of organizational and donor funds
  • Monitor program expenditures and financial assistance distributed to clients
  • Provide oversight of all financial assistance distributed through the program and ensure appropriate approvals and documentation are maintained
  • Complete timely and accurate monthly and annual reports for internal use and for external funders and grantors
Community Outreach
  • Cultivate and maintain strong working relationships with community organizations, social service agencies, churches, and other partners
  • Represent CCEOK at community meetings, task forces, collaborative events, and other activities related to emergency assistance, household stability, poverty alleviation, and economic stability
  • Identify opportunities for partnerships and collaborative efforts that expand the reach and effectiveness of Catholic Charities services
  • Develop and maintain a strong network of community resources and referral partners to support comprehensive case management
Administration
  • Manage administrative responsibilities including payroll approvals, time-off requests, check and credit card approvals, annual performance reviews
  • Become proficient with the Apricot program, ensuring proper data is entered and able to pull necessary reports
