Job summary

IQ-EQ, a leading Investor Services group, is seeking an experienced Fund Accountant Manager to oversee client relationships and financial reporting for complex client portfolios. The role emphasizes accuracy, compliance, and proactive service delivery across daily, monthly, and annual cycles.

You will train fund accountants, allocate tasks, and collaborate with auditors and tax advisors to support year-end reporting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with 4+ years of relevant experience.
  • Strong analytical thinking, curiosity, and research skills.
  • Professional verbal and written communication and ability to build client relationships.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines under pressure.

Job Description
You’ll manage and train fund accountants, oversee the allocation of daily and monthly activities, and independently handle client relationships to ensure service quality and satisfaction. You’ll also review and occasionally prepare complex monthly client reports, requiring strong self-motivation and the ability to work independently.

  • You'll collaborate with auditors and tax advisors, validating accounts and supporting year-end audits and tax returns.

Qualifications
  • You bring a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance along with 4+ years of relevant professional experience and direct client-facing expertise.
  • You apply strong analytical thinking, curiosity, and research skills to identify issues, solve problems, and deliver effective solutions.
  • You communicate professionally through clear verbal and written communication while building positive client and team relationships.
  • You demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office and maintain exceptional organization, attention to detail, and accuracy in your work.
  • You effectively manage priorities, meet deadlines under pressure, and take initiative as a proactive, goal-oriented team player.
