Job Responsibilities Include:

1. Oversee and monitor that guest service is being carried out at the highest level by all front end associates to ensure the guests have a pleasant check-out experience.
2. Lead efforts in associate development, training, and coaching with all front end teammates.
3. Foster a positive and respectful environment to ensure the front end department is operating fully as a team.
4. Managing and guiding guest traffic through the front end to ensure guests are checking out in a timely manner.
5. Review company standards, policies, and updated training tasks with all department associates.
6. Coordinate weekly schedules for the front end to ensure proper staffing levels are assigned to the correct days and times of business.
7. Handle guest inquiries and complaints in a professional and urgent matter.
8. Assist with supervisory duties as needed throughout the store in the absence of Store Director or Assistant Store Directors.
9. Operating a cash register and checking out products for guests. Handling and performing various transaction types according to company standards (cash, debit/credit card, check, etc.)
10. Oversee the handling of guest inquiries at the service desk to ensure proper procedures are following with returns, price checks, or refunds.
11. Attend various weekly huddle-up meetings and contribute to the store's efforts in communication.
12. Work with other departments throughout the store in an effort to cross-train associates in other areas and assist in tasks such as shelf conditions and stocking.
13. Partner with store leadership and human resources as needed for coaching sessions with associates.
14. Ensure front end areas, public restrooms, and other work areas are clean, tidy, and sanitized.
