We’re looking for a Manager, Global Payroll to oversee our global payroll operations. In this role, you will ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, deliver exceptional employee service, and maintain compliance across all regions. This position is remote and reports to the Director of Global Payroll.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and mentor the global payroll team, fostering accuracy, accountability, and service excellence, while developing team members’ expertise and growth.
- Manage a diverse payroll team, including recruiting, coaching, performance management, and DE&I practices.
- Build and oversee a customer-focused payroll team with robust controls and streamlined processes for timely support to global employees.
- Resolve complex inquiries and ensure seamless payroll operations.
- Partner with payroll providers, vendors, authorities, tax accountants, and auditors for accuracy and compliance.
- Engage with leaders and internal partners to support business priorities and add value.
- Maintain accurate, confidential payroll records, adhering to regulatory standards.
- Perform other related duties as needed.
What You’ll Need
- Extensive experience in payroll management within a global corporation, managing a multi-member team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or equivalent; Canadian Payroll Association PCP certification preferred.
- Proven leadership skills.
- Proficiency in payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Workday, Dayforce).
- Experience with Workday payroll processing module.
- Strong technical knowledge of global payroll and tax compliance.
- Experience with payroll software implementation projects.
- Ability to foster inclusive, diverse teams and leverage perspectives.
- Skills in setting priorities, problem-solving, and process management.
