Job summary

FashionUnited is looking for a Manager in Global Environments Procurement in New York. The role involves collaborating with global stakeholders to implement procurement strategies aimed at achieving cost savings and process improvements. You will manage RFx and sourcing projects, leveraging your expertise in contract negotiation and strategic sourcing.

The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in procurement, with strong analytical skills and a proven track record in managing supplier relationships.

Manager, Global Environments Procurement

Responsibilities
  • Partner with global stakeholders to understand business requests and align on procurement strategies
  • Implement global procurement target initiatives and strategies to achieve cost savings
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement
  • Analyze spend data to uncover cost‑saving opportunities, cost containment, or revenue generation
  • Manage RFx and sourcing projects, preparing, issuing, and evaluating analysis; engage vendors in negotiations and prepare final price lists or recommendations to stakeholders
  • Plan projects, including timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder alignment
  • Prepare business cases to quantify savings and benefits of initiatives
  • Partner closely with business stakeholders to identify and execute value‑generating opportunities
  • Research market trends and leading practices to discover and implement cost‑saving initiatives
  • Manage contract details from vendor engagement through terms, negotiations, and execution
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5‑7 years of experience in Strategic Sourcing/Procurement, Performance Measurement, Contract Negotiation, Business Analysis, and Change Management
  • 3‑5 years of industry/category‑specific experience in Architecture & Store Construction, including Construction Materials, Store Fixtures, Store Furniture, and Construction Services
  • Strong knowledge of strategic sourcing methodology and ability to develop category and sourcing strategies
  • Track record of directing and leveraging procurement spend in assigned categories through global cross‑functional teams
  • Experience managing strong supplier relationships and negotiating contracts
  • Proficiency in procurement/spend systems data analysis
  • Strong interpersonal, management, and organizational skills to develop Sourcing Specialists and Category Analysts
  • Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, and conflict‑resolution abilities
  • Capability to apply change‑management and consulting skills
  • Knowledge of materials, finishes, manufacturing processes, and quality management
Additional Desired Qualities
  • Firsthand knowledge of strategic sourcing methodology
  • Technical knowledge of architectural shop drawings and material usage
  • Strong team‑building, business acumen, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Base Pay Range: $90,000.00 – $110,000.00
