Summary

Universal Studios Hollywood is committed to providing fun, unique, and memorable experiences to our guests. The Replenishment Manager, Food Distribution plays an integral role by ensuring all merchandise flows efficiently and accurately from the Warehouse to each venue on-time and ready for our guests. This position supports all aspects of our Food Warehouse facility and assists the Area Manager, Distribution, in ensuring accurate and efficient receipt and replenishment of all products at the venues. Responsibilities include receiving, equipment operations, putaways, replenishment, pulling, shipping, re-pricing, inventory, safety, loss prevention, team member engagement, training, development, staff supervision, and discipline. This role offers a unique opportunity to manage a Warehouse facility and support Food Distribution at the world’s largest entertainment studio and theme park.

Essential Functions
  • Ownership of all SOPs across each Warehouse department.
  • Ensure Warehouse processes and procedures comply with company, union, and legal guidelines, enforcing adherence.
  • Manage Warehouse inventory control levels, monitor processes, investigate and reconcile discrepancies within WMS (Cambar/Eatec), and oversee the year-end physical inventory.
  • Inspect and maintain Warehouse equipment and facilities; communicate repair needs or requisitions.
  • Secure Warehouse operations and merchandise by enforcing Loss Prevention protocols to maintain inventory accuracy and meet shrink goals.
  • Promote a safety culture through communication, training, audits, and partnership with the Health and Safety team. Investigate and complete safety concerns and accident reports timely.
  • Support in preparing an annual budget, manage weekly schedules, monitor expenses, and oversee time punch variances.
  • Set productivity targets, conduct training, monitor performance, and follow up to achieve operational objectives.
  • Uphold company standards for team member satisfaction, engagement, and recognition.
  • Develop relationships with internal Food Management and external Supply Chain & Distribution Management.
  • Produce reports on labor, volume, productivity, and capacity.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance Warehouse efficiency and capacity using analytics.
  • Maintain attendance and behavior logs; communicate and follow-up on issues with corrective actions.
  • Oversee training and development for Distribution team members, manage staff to support 24/7 operations, and meet all operational, financial, and engagement responsibilities.
  • Support storage standards for receipt, replenishment, branding, cleanliness, and organization at all Food venues.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
  • 5+ years of managerial experience in Food warehousing.
  • College degree with relevant coursework is a plus but not required.
  • Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems, logistics, and inventory management.
  • Knowledge of electric equipment, driver safety, scheduling, and maintenance; certification and hands-on experience are a plus.
  • Understanding of Reverse Logistics, Food Safety, Space Management, Replenishment procedures, and 5s methodology.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.

This position is full-time, on-site at NBCUniversal, with a salary range of $75,000 - $90,000. It includes benefits such as medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and discounts.
