Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in restaurant, bar, or F&B management (hotel or resort environment preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of F&B operations, including bar management, cost control, and service standards.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience hiring, training, and motivating diverse teams.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Experience with cash and cost control management.
  • Working knowledge of POS systems, inventory management, and scheduling software.
  • Food Safety Manager Certification and TIPS (or equivalent) certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate events, private dining, and bar activations to enhance guest/member experience.
  • Manage bar operations and cost-control standards; train bar staff on mixology and service.

Description

The Manager, Food & Beverage (Restaurant Manager) is responsible for assisting the Director of Operations and Restaurant General Manager in the oversight of all aspects of restaurant and bar operations to deliver exceptional service, quality, and hospitality in alignment with Gravity Haus standards. This role manages day-to-day Food & Beverage operations for White Rabbit Tavern, including dining outlets, bar service, and events, while ensuring profitability, efficiency, and compliance with health and safety standards. The Restaurant Manager plays a key leadership role in training, coaching, and motivating team members to create memorable experiences for guests and members alike.

Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
  • Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, bar, and related outlets, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
  • Monitor quality, presentation, and consistency of food and beverage offerings.
  • Partner with the culinary team to align menus, specials, and promotions with guest preferences and brand standards.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
Financial Management
  • Implement and maintain set budgets, forecasts, and financial goals for the restaurant and bar.
  • Monitor labor, beverage, and food costs, implementing strategies to maximize profitability.
  • Manage inventory processes, including ordering, receiving, and stock control of food, beverages, and supplies.
Team Leadership & Development
  • Recruit, hire, train, and mentor F&B staff, ensuring alignment with Gravity Haus values and service standards.
  • Assist in creating staffing schedules and oversee labor allocation to balance efficiency and guest needs.
  • Foster a positive, team-oriented culture that encourages accountability, growth, and recognition.
  • Lead pre-shift meetings to communicate goals, events, and expectations.
Guest Experience & Service
  • Act as a primary point of contact for guest inquiries, feedback, and escalated service issues.
  • Promote a culture of haus’pitality by ensuring all staff provide friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive service.
  • Coordinate special events, private dining, and bar activations to enhance the guest and member experience.
Bar Oversight
  • Manage bar operations and implement cost control standards.
  • Maintain vendor relationships for beer, wine, and spirits, ensuring diverse and appealing selections.
  • Train bar staff on mixology, responsible alcohol service, and guest engagement.
Collaboration & Communication
  • Work closely with the General Manager, Executive Chef, and other property leaders to ensure seamless coordination across departments.
  • Support cross-functional initiatives to drive membership value, event participation, and overall guest satisfaction.
  • Serve as a brand ambassador, embodying the Gravity Haus lifestyle and values.
What We’re Looking For
