Major Responsibility:
Responsible for the overall performance of the fleet services function at a specific location within a City/District. This includes managing servicing, vehicle damage repair, and in-fleeting/de-fleeting of rental vehicles to maximize fleet utilization and profitability.
Essential Duties:
- Develop and implement operational plans to maximize fleet utilization, overseeing maintenance, repairs, reconditioning, and the in-fleeting and de-fleeting of vehicles.
- Manage team performance by setting and monitoring goals related to service, damage, in-fleet, and de-fleet activities.
- Assess daily workload for service, repair, and fleet management; conduct pre-shift meetings to review performance and communicate goals.
- Ensure all repair orders are completed according to guidelines and warranty submissions meet business plans.
- Oversee timely completion of recalls, preventative maintenance, and vehicle repairs.
- Forecast, budget, and manage financial metrics such as S&W per day, warranty recovery, and costs per estimate and deletion.
- Coordinate damage appraisals and repairs, including documentation and procurement of parts and supplies.
- Manage vendor relationships, ensuring service level agreements are met, and oversee invoice processing and vendor compliance.
- Report to the SC City Manager and collaborate with the District Manager to prioritize workload.
- Handle all aspects of employee lifecycle management, including hiring, training, performance evaluation, and recognition.
- Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to safety policies and practices.

Experience and Qualifications:
- High school diploma required; college degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- At least 2 years of management experience in related fields such as rental cars, automotive service, or similar.
- Valid driver's license and successful background check.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, nights, or weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and oversee multiple work areas.
