HVPT ICON Parking is seeking a Manager, Workday Adaptive Financial Systems to own and advance the Workday Adaptive Planning platform, ensuring the integrity, usability, and scalability of the financial and operational data that underpin strategic decision‑making. Serving as a bridge between FP&A, Accounting, and business leadership, the Manager enhances planning processes, reporting capabilities, and system connectivity to deliver actionable insight for internal leadership, landlords, and equity sponsors across the portfolio.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Employee must be able to perform essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.

  • Own and administer Workday Adaptive Planning, including security, configuration, workflow management, custom fields and validations, data governance, and organizational structure.
  • Assist the FP&A team on the annual budget, monthly forecast, board reporting, and related management reporting processes, with Adaptive Planning as the primary planning and reporting tool.
  • Ensure the relationship between Workday Adaptive Planning and NetSuite is accurately reconciled across all reporting dimensions, partnering closely with Accounting to resolve variances, maintain data integrity, and support an efficient financial close and reporting cycle.
  • Enhance system connectivity and automation by improving integrations between Adaptive Planning, NetSuite, Workday, and other source systems, while maintaining alignment of hierarchies, metadata, mapping logic, and change controls to support accurate, auditable, and scalable reporting.
  • Develop and improve reports, dashboards, and Office Connect deliverables to increase productivity and deliver timely, actionable insights to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Produce monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc performance reporting for leadership, landlords, equity sponsors, and other stakeholders, highlighting business trends, key drivers, and areas of focus.
  • Analyze actual results versus budget, forecast, and prior year; identify performance drivers; and support forward‑looking forecasts and key planning assumptions.
  • Translate offline spreadsheet‑based models into Adaptive Planning to improve automation, standardization, controls, and scalability.
  • Partner with department leaders to understand business needs, support cost‑savings initiatives, and identify opportunities to improve margin and operational performance across locations and the broader portfolio.
  • Provide ad hoc financial and operational analysis to support strategic decisions, business opportunities, and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Train users and serve as a subject matter expert for Adaptive Planning, promoting effective adoption and consistent use across the organization.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certification such as CPA, CFA, or similar is a plus.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, financial reporting, accounting, or financial systems, including substantial hands‑on experience with Workday Adaptive Planning.
  • Demonstrated expertise in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, financial modeling, management reporting, and planning systems administration.
  • Strong experience administering Adaptive Planning administration, including configuration, workflow, security, reporting, reconciliations, and integrations with financial and enterprise systems, with particular emphasis on maintaining alignment and auditability between Adaptive Planning and NetSuite.
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, as well as finance and data platforms such as NetSuite and Workday.
  • Strong analytical, reconciliation, research, and problem‑solving skills, with exceptional attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence, partner effectively, and communicate clearly with senior leadership and cross‑functional stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment while managing multiple priorities and deadlines; knowledge of applicable statutory regulations is a plus.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience leading or materially improving enterprise planning system implementations, enhancements, or automation initiatives.
  • Prior experience supporting board, investor, landlord, or sponsor reporting in a multi‑location or portfolio‑based business.
  • Strong working knowledge of general ledger structures, dimensional modeling, and data architecture across planning and reporting platforms.
  • Experience in parking, real estate, multi‑site operations, or other asset‑intensive industries is a plus.
SUCCESS IN THIS ROLE
  • Delivers accurate, timely budgets, forecasts, and performance reporting that leadership trusts to make strategic decisions.
  • Improves the reliability, scalability, and adoption of Workday Adaptive Planning through thoughtful administration, automation, and user support.
  • Builds reporting and dashboards that turn financial and operational data into actionable insight for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strengthens cross‑functional decision‑making by identifying performance drivers, risks, and opportunities across locations and the broader portfolio.
