What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  • Ensure compliance with financial reporting requirements, including preparation of interim and annual financial statements
  • Research and interpret complex accounting issues, ensuring adherence to GAAP and other applicable standards
  • Coordinate and manage the external audit process, acting as the main point of contact for external auditors
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align departmental goals with the organizational strategy
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing program performance and implementing process optimizations
What is Required (Qualifications):
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and/or Finance
  • CPA certification
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a public accounting firm, consulting/advisory, or public company
  • In-depth knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Experience in the hotel, hospitality, vacation, or similar industry is highly preferred
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  • Proficiency in technical accounting areas such as revenue recognition, lease accounting, and financial instrumentsPrior product and/or program management level experience in a related industry
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build connections with team members and clients
