This role is for someone who takes extreme ownership of their work, stays resilient through shifting priorities, and is motivated by the opportunity to build scalable, world-class accounting processes.

  • Lead high-impact process improvement and automation projects, partnering with FinTech to design and implement financial systems that reduce manual debt and increase efficiency.
  • Own the internal control environment by performing and maintaining SOX controls, ensuring all global accounting processes are audit-ready and compliant with Uber's policies.
  • Coach and develop a team of Senior Accountants, setting high performance bars and providing real-time feedback to help them grow through the unique challenges of a global tech environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience implementing or operating in a SOX effective environment.
  • Past experience as a people manager, driving performance in a complex environment.
  • Experience with Oracle or other large-scale ERP systems in a high-volume corporate environment.
