Overview

Sentara Health is currently seeking a Manager, Facility Service at the Sentara Leigh Hospital in Norfolk, Virginia.

Location

Norfolk, VA

Work Shift

First (Days). Full‑time, 40 hours per week, day shift, on-call required.

Position Overview

The Manager of Facility Operations is responsible for planning, organizing, supervising, coordinating, and controlling the activities of plant operations and maintenance functions. They maintain physical structures, HVAC, mechanical, electrical systems, utilities, and grounds in safe working condition, coordinate quality customer service activities, purchasing, payroll, and budgeting processes. They participate in work activities of assigned teams, serve as technical resource, and deliver high‑quality services that meet or exceed customer expectations.

Education Required

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Experience Required

4 years of Maintenance Management

Required Certifications

Valid and current driver’s license

Sentara Leigh Hospital, located in Norfolk, VA, is a 274‑bed acute care facility that opened in 1903 and relocated to its present site in 1977.
