Job description

The Manager, Facilities & S3 Systems is responsible for the business ownership, strategy, governance, performance, and continued evolution of enterprise systems supporting Sony Pictures Entertainment's Facilities, Security, Safety & Sustainability organization.

The Manager serves as the business owner for Archibus and related Facilities & S3 technology platforms, establishing the roadmap, governance, data standards, system priorities, and operating processes required to ensure these platforms reliably support business operations.

This role combines systems leadership, facilities technology expertise, data governance, operational process improvement, and cross-functional program management.

The Manager will partner across Facilities & S3, IT, data and analytics teams, Procurement, business stakeholders, and external technology partners to ensure systems are stable, integrated, scalable, and aligned with long-term operational needs.

The Manager is expected to move the organization beyond reactive system support toward proactive platform management, automation, reliable data, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the business owner and primary subject matter leader for Archibus and other Facilities & S3 enterprise systems, defining platform objectives, priorities, standards, and a multi-year technology roadmap aligned with operational and strategic priorities.
  • Provide functional leadership for Archibus across space management, occupancy, moves, work management, asset information, and related IWMS capabilities.
  • Establish governance and standards for system configuration, workflows, data structures, permissions, integrations, change management, and critical system data to ensure information remains reliable, accurate, and auditable.
  • Lead system implementations, enhancements, upgrades, integrations, module deployments, and optimization efforts, including requirements, testing, operational readiness, deployment, stabilization, and post-implementation review.
  • Evaluate existing and emerging system capabilities and recommend when to enhance, integrate, consolidate, replace, retire, or expand technologies based on operational value and lifecycle impact.
  • Partner with Facilities, Security, Safety, Sustainability, IT, analytics teams, and other stakeholders to translate operational requirements into scalable technology solutions and repeatable processes.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows through automation, integrations, self-service capabilities, and the reduction of manual processes and disconnected spreadsheets.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs for system health, data quality, adoption, issue resolution, integration performance, and vendor delivery, using data to identify risks and prioritize improvements.
  • Serve as a senior business representative with IT, BRMs, software providers, consultants, and systems integrators, establishing service expectations and holding partners accountable for performance, issue resolution, and deliverables.
  • Drive user adoption through standardized workflows, documentation, training, support, and ongoing feedback while ensuring systems remain practical and aligned with how teams work.
  • Provide direction and prioritization to analysts, contractors, vendors, and other resources supporting Facilities & S3 systems, while developing internal system expertise and sustainable operating processes.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Facilities Management, Business Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7+ years of progressively responsible experience supporting enterprise business systems, facilities technology, IWMS, CAFM, CMMS, workplace systems, or related platforms.
  • Demonstrated experience owning or leading an enterprise application or technology platform, including system implementations, enhancements, integrations, or major upgrades.
  • Strong knowledge of Archibus or comparable enterprise IWMS/CAFM platforms, including space management, occupancy, work management, facilities data, or workplace operations; deep Archibus experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of IWMS/CAFM/CMMS architectures and workflows, with working knowledge of SQL, reporting, analytics, enterprise data structures, APIs, integrations, and system dependencies.
  • Experience establishing data governance, system controls, operational standards, and system lifecycle processes including change control, testing, release management, and operational support.
  • Ability to translate business strategy and operational requirements into technology roadmaps, scalable solutions, and executable plans.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage technology vendors and work effectively with enterprise IT organizations and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD/floor-plan integrations and space-management processes preferred; experience with ServiceNow or comparable enterprise workflow tools is a plus.
  • Experience working in a large-scale, complex, multi-site or global environment and implementing automation, technology roadmaps, or system-performance KPIs preferred.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • BOMA, IFMA, PMP, or related certifications are beneficial but not required.
