Job summary

Arkansas Children's is seeking a planning, design, and construction leader to manage complex projects across facilities. The role involves coordinating design and construction activities with hospital operations, coaching staff, and ensuring strong client-project team communication.

A strong leadership track record and HR experience are essential. Required education includes a high school diploma or GED, with a bachelor’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field recommended.
  • 5 years of relevant experience, including at least 1 year in a leadership role.
  • In lieu of a High School Diploma/GED, 7 years of experience with at least 1 year in a leadership role.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees and manages Planning, Design and Construction Projects.
  • Coordinates planning, design and construction project activities and disciplines with AC operations.
  • Coaches team on all project communication between client and project team.
  • Intercedes when issues arise to build/restore relationships.
  • Establish alliances with other departments and organizations by recognizing dependencies for partnerships.
  • Maintains knowledge to develop department goals, metrics of performance and programs.
  • Responsible for HR actions for reporting staff, including hiring, firing, disciplinary actions, and annual evaluations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
