We’re looking for an amazing Food, Beverage, Hotel, Procurement and Supply Chain Manager to fill this role, which is based in our Ft. Lauderdale, FL office. You’ll be responsible for managing tactical sourcing and procurement strategies and activities on all food, bar, hotel and/or medical categories. Scope is for assigned brand but will synergize with other brands. This role will be challenged to effectively work across internal stakeholder groups within the organization, ensuring deadlines for multiple markets and itineraries are met, as well as ensuring selected vendor meets best overall value.

Responsibilities
- Managing effective collaboration with Brand, internal and external stakeholders. They will be the first point of contact for all projects and issues and will be responsible for timely resolutions.
- Ensuring OTIF level meets or exceeds the goal and will work very closely with Strategic Sourcing team to escalate issues as necessary.
- Leading vessels calls to review upcoming loadings and address any issues related to supplier products, delivery, or quality issues.
- Creation and managing action lists with close alignment with logistics team and Strategic Sourcing teams.
- Managing Supply Chain Coordinators/expeditors to ensure orders are processed timely, action list is followed, and follow up with suppliers as necessary. Ensure suppliers are confirming orders and invoicing timely.
- Reviewing shorts and consolidations timely and ensuring a plan is in place to procure any shorts.
- Hiring and training new team members as needed.
- Training staff to create and own Action Lists in medium term.
- Managing and implementing effective tactical sourcing plan for assigned projects or categories that creates long term value while meeting brand objectives for assigned buyers within the team.
- Effective Supplier Relationship Management driving supplier results, leveraging data, metrics, and internal feedback. Lead supplier qualification and certification programs.
- Works with leadership and strategic sourcing in consolidating spend and identifying opportunities for strategic sourcing that can reduce tactical and spot buys.
- Coach and train team on sourcing process and build skillset to develop team into becoming Strategic Sourcing specialists as their growth.
- Manage and implementation of strategies to ensure freight costs are adhered to and reviewed to ensure best buying decisions for all tactical purchases.
- Ensure loading schedules are followed and logistics optimized to ensure most effective freight movements.
- Work with team to identify roadblocks in vendor payments and create effective solutions.
- Ensure expeditors are processing all vendor issues and ensuring payment terms are being met for all vendors.
- Work closely with AP statement team and finance to clear any vendor payments monthly.
- Follow a service excellence approach to exceed stakeholders’ expectations. Apply project management concepts to deliver on time commitments. Build and maintain trusting working relationships by permanently assessing on needs and delivering upon those.
- Implement efficient procurement operations methods, identify and resolve sources of inefficiencies and re-work.
- Manage the development of meaningful KPIs to measure supplier and team performance with regards to cost, delivery, quality, risk.
- Successfully manage a diverse team of supply chain and sourcing professionals; track and monitor performance, ensuring to set goals and expectations, and provide clear and regular feedback to improve performance.
- Ensure yearly performance evaluation done timely and ensuring individual team member 1 on 1 to ensure they have chances to express thoughts, process improvements and for career growth and experience. Lead and follow our Culture Essentials.
- Ensure developing team members and self for professional growth as well and personal growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Economics, Hospitality, Science, Agriculture required.
- 5+ years of relevant experience including managing team required.
- 5+ years within cruise industry is required. Experience in sourcing and procurement preferred.
- Knowledge of Crunch time including managing markets and system setup is highly preferred.
- Ability to work independently, lead projects and influence in a cross-functional team environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines and work under pressure, while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent analytical skills: Ability to gather and analyze information skillfully, model information in Excel, financial analysis, draw conclusions from data.
- Identify and resolve problems efficiently and effectively.
- High level of negotiation skills and practices, price/cost analysis, contract formation and administration, project management, process improvement.
- Proficient in the use of computer business applications.
- Supplier relationship management experience.

- Base Salary Range: $81,400.00 to $109,900.00+. The range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. Final base salary is directly related to each candidates' qualifications and experience uniquely.
