Job summary

West Monroe is seeking a Manager to join the CFO Advisory team within Operations Excellence, focusing on ERP and finance transformation. You will lead engagements, shape strategy, and mentor teams while expanding client relationships across multiple industries.

Your role includes managing budgets, guiding change initiatives, and delivering executive-ready results with clarity and impact. A US work authorization and 50% travel are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/Finance or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years advising on ERP selection and implementation; active PM on 5+ full-cycle ERP deployments.
• Strong knowledge across Lead to Close, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Plan to Produce, Record to Report.
• Expert project management for multiple ERP strategy projects with budgets and pricing estimates.
• At least 1 year of people management experience and coaching junior staff.
• Strong data visualization and Excel analysis to present insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for executive stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% and work in US without visa sponsorship.

West Monroe is currently seeking a Manager to join our CFO Advisory teamwithin our Operations Excellence practice.This person will bringexpertisesupporting clientsas theymodernizetheir financeorganization,including developing their application strategyandtransformationroadmap. Candidates should also have experience in helping to develop and/or enhance supporting methodologies and tools, as well as integrating these with other consulting solutions (e.g., technology and vertical practices).

Whatyou’lldo:

• Serve as a delivery leader on engagements of moderate-to-high complexity and scale, communicating with c-level client sponsors directly without oversight, and exemplifying engagement management, client relationship, client satisfaction, risk management, and delivery team management skills.
  • Engagements include but are not limited to fit-gap assessments, application strategy, software and integrator selection , implementation health check and recovery, implementation project and change management, and IT back-office application due diligence as needed.
• Lead digital finance transformation projects across various implementation workstreams, overseeing engagement scope, budget, deliverables, profitability, work management and reporting, change management, vendor management, and team development.
• Achieve business development goals primarily through building networks with internal partners, educating channel partners on Financial Management offerings, farming opportunities, and scoping projects/proposals.
• Model and mentor Consultants and Senior Consultants day-to-day in personifying West Monroe values with clients, on project teams, and within individual relationships.
• Career Advisor for at least one Consultant – activelyparticipatingin the performance expectation and management process.
• Actively engage in recruiting, interviewing, and selecting campus and experienced new hire consultants.

Whatyou’llbring:

• Bachelor’s degree in related discipline (e.g., Information Technology, MIS, Finance & Accounting) or equivalent experience required .
• 5+ years of progressive experience advising clients on the selection and implementation of ERP solutions ( SAP ERP, Oracle ERP Cloud, and Microsoft Dynamics 365 strongly preferred) ; must have been an active team member or PM on at least 5 full-cycle ERP implementations
• Strong functional knowledge within the following areas: Lead to Close, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Plan to Produce, Record to Report, Recruit to Retire (any other industry specific knowledge is a plus (e.g., TMS, WMS, PSA, EAM, etc.) )
• Expert project manager with extensive experience leading multiple ERP strategy projects including developing work plans, project scopes, pricing estimates, budget management, issue and risk management, and presenting deliverables.
• At least 1 year of people management experience, and a passion for developing and coaching more junior team members.
• Strong data visualization and analysis skills; comfortable using tools like Excel to analyze data and present key insights in a compelling way.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skillsincludingthe ability to create impactful and concise executive stakeholder-ready deliverables, and polished client-facing oral communication skills.
• Demonstrated success within one or more of West Monroe’s core industries including Consumer & Industrial Products, Healthcare (payer/provider), Life Sciences, High Tech & Software, Utilities, Insurance, Banking, and/or Private Equity.
• Ability to work permanently in the United States without sponsorship.

Based on pay transparency guidelines, the salaryrange for this role can vary based on your proximity to one of our West Monroe offices (see table below). Individual salaries are determined by evaluating a variety of factors including geography, experience, skills, education, and internal equity.
