A leading healthcare organization is seeking a Manager for their Epic Revenue Cycle Throughput team. This role entails overseeing Epic software configurations and implementations to improve patient care and operational efficiency. Ideal candidates will have a background in healthcare revenue cycle management, extensive leadership experience, and strong collaboration skills with clinical teams. The Manager, Epic Revenue Cycle Throughput oversees the management of the Epic Revenue Cycle Throughput team, with oversight over the following Epic systems: Cadence Registration, Prelude Enterprise Scheduling, Gallery and HIM, Patient Experience (MyChart, Hello World), and Grand Central Patient Flow. This position is responsible for overseeing the implementation, configuration, support, and optimization of Epic software applications across the healthcare organization. This role will work closely with clinical, administrative, and IT stakeholders to ensure the effective and efficient use of the Epic system to improve patient care, workflow efficiency, and compliance with regulatory standards.

Strong understanding of healthcare revenue cycle management, along with registration and scheduling workflows
Strong understanding of patient throughput and tracking
Strong understanding of patient experience and MyChart patient portal
Familiarity with Health Information Management solutions
Proven leadership and team management skills to handle multiple projects and delegate to and direct staff
Strong management skills to oversee daily operations of the Epic application team, including system maintenance, configuration, troubleshooting, and support
Ability to lead the implementation of new Epic modules and upgrades, ensuring timely and successful project completion
Ability to prioritize work efforts and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Ability to provide support to their application analysts, managers must understand the issues and workflows in their area well enough to represent their users' needs to Epic
Ability to set clear expectations for team members, including defining what they should do at each phase of the project
Ability to communicate information clearly and concisely with project leadership and subject matter experts
Collaboration skill to work with clinical and operational leadership to assess needs, translate workflows into Epic functionality, and provide strategic guidance
Demonstrating flexibility with respect to changing end‐user business needs
The ability to gain trust and establish effective relationships with Epic counterparts
The ability to persevere in difficult situations, overcome obstacles, and reach high levels of performance when faced with stressful work situations and time pressures
Seeking, logically examining, and interpreting information from different sources to determine a problem's cause and developing a course of action to resolve the problem and to prevent its recurrence
Required:
Bachelor’s degree or a license/certification in a clinical specialty
Minimum 4 years of experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma
Minimum 5 years’ experience working in an analyst or manager role
Preferred:
Certification in Epic applications
Minimum 3 years of experience working with Epic applications
Minimum 2 years of management experience
Experience in revenue cycle management
