Job description

As Manager of Environmental Support Unit B, supervise five Environmental Scientists that provide environmental and cultural regulatory compliance on flood maintenance and project activities. Provide planning, coordination, environmental review and permitting services associated with the operations, maintenance, repair, replacement, rehabilitation and improvement of Sacramento River Flood Control Project and other State Plan of Flood Control facilities; work with staff and agency representatives in carrying out DWR studies, central valley flood protection planning, project implementation, and planning commitments. Perform site visits to assess project impacts. Provide support for State emergency response actions.
