Primary Function

To manage the daily operations of our Enterprise Mental Health System of Care requiring advanced assessment and intervention strategies across our family of companies; supervise and advise clinical and support staff; coordinate service delivery so that client needs, program goals and contract objectives are effectively met. Develop behavioral health program policies and procedures.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

This list may not include all the duties that may be assigned.

  • Assess regional needs and intervention strategies to implement behavioral health programs that meet the needs of our patient population. Work with regional leadership and other enterprise key stakeholders to create and evaluate program budget and productivity goals.
  • Apply for grants and other types of funding. Participate in grant, contract negotiation, or accreditation preparation, as requested.
  • Actively participate and collaborate with agency/provider meetings at the state and regional level.
  • Participate in the interviewing, hiring, and onboarding process of new mental health clinicians and support staff. Supervise regional program staff, including regular individual and group staff meetings and case consultations. Identify unmet training needs for staff.
  • Assign cases to program staff and oversee service delivery, performed according to policy, statewide directives, procedural directions, and treatment models.
  • Provide oversight of clinical assessments, treatment, case coordination, and supportive counseling services to individuals and families.
  • Provide ongoing assistance to program staff in coordinating services and resources for patients.
  • Support new and existing program staff through field training, perspective, and empowerment to ensure effective service delivery.
  • Lead and facilitate clinical training in evidence-based practices for network providers, as required by the program.
  • Review and approve notes submitted for billing, when applicable.
  • Support staff development by teaching and modeling technical skills, work management, communication, and conflict resolution. Participate in quality improvement processes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Remote Opportunity

Same primary function and responsibilities as above, with the flexibility of remote work.

Qualifications

Education: Master’s degree in Mental Health required. Related experience can substitute for education.

Experience: 3+ years of clinical and supervisory experience required. Training in evidence-based modalities like PCBHI, Match, Prapare preferred.

Licensure / Certification: Florida license in Mental Health (LMHC).

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
  • Knowledge of medical education, training, and development is a plus.
  • Advanced skills in Excel and Outlook, excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Working Conditions
  • Patient-facing role, possibly full-time remote.
  • Must be U.S.-based with a quiet workspace for remote work.
  • Ability to work under emotionally stressful conditions.
  • Up to 10% travel.
Physical Requirements
  • Vision, hearing, touch, PPE usage if applicable.
Performance Requirements

Adhere to organizational policies on information security and protect sensitive information in accordance with regulations.
