Role Description

Applix is looking for a Manager, Engineering AI Transformation to lead AI-enabled transformation across engineering development, validation, quality, and software delivery processes.

This role is for someone who can take AI beyond pilots and experiments — and drive real, measurable adoption across engineering teams.

You will lead initiatives focused on applying Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, Agentic AI, automation, and modern engineering workflows to improve productivity, quality, cycle time, compliance, and scalability.

What you’ll do:

• Lead a team focused on AI-enabled engineering transformation
• Build and scale AI/automation solutions across engineering workflows
• Drive use cases such as code generation, code review, defect detection, root-cause analysis, SDLC optimization, validation acceleration, and engineering analytics automation
• Partner with engineering, software, validation, quality, product, and business stakeholders
• Convert AI pilots into scalable frameworks, tools, playbooks, and operating models
• Define KPIs, roadmaps, and measurable business outcomes

We’re looking for someone with:

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, systems engineering, engineering tools, digital engineering, or related domains
• 3+ years of team leadership or technical delivery management experience
• Hands‑on experience with AI, ML, GenAI, automation, or advanced analytics in engineering/software environments
• Strong understanding of SDLC, CI/CD, validation, testing, and quality processes
• Ability to translate AI opportunities into operational and business impact

Nice to have:

• Experience scaling AI/digital solutions beyond pilots
• Exposure to regulated engineering, validation, functional safety, ISO 26262, IEC 61508, or similar standards
• Experience with engineering copilots, Agentic AI, connected products, IoT, industrial systems, or large‑scale engineering data platforms
