Qualifications Include
- Bachelor's Degree in business, finance, engineering, or related experience
- Demonstrated progressive business acumen skills
- Strong computer, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Experience in electric transmission business or project development
- Ability to deliver on strategic objectives and tariff or proforma requirements
- Knowledge of FERC regulatory provisions and requirements
- Highly motivated with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to lead diverse teams and manage conflicting schedules
- Valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record
- Physical, perceptual, and mental abilities to perform job duties
- Ability to work in office and field environments, exposure to hazards and weather
- Willingness to travel up to 25% with possible extended overnight stays
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
- Ability to pass employment physical, drug test, and background check
Duties Include
- Lead and demonstrate alignment with NorthWestern Energy's values and policies

- Lead cross-functional teams through solicitation and key processes
- Identify and develop strategic opportunities supporting electric transmission goals
- Prepare business reports, presentations, and materials
- Collaborate across departments to achieve objectives
- Translate financial, technical, and operational goals into strategic plans
- Build relationships with stakeholders and partners
- Provide updates and interact with senior management
- Maintain effective relationships with team members and leadership
- Adhere to safety standards and ethical conduct
- Align actions with company mission and strategic objectives
Full-time, with salary range $108,400 - $176,400 annually, including benefits such as 401K, healthcare, HSA, FSA, life insurance, paid time off, and holidays. The position remains open until filled.
This role is classified as Mid-Senior level in engineering and information technology within the utilities industry.
