Job summary

Yanfeng International Automotive Technology Co. Ltd. is seeking an experienced EHS leader to ensure workplace safety, regulatory compliance, and environmental performance at our Alabama operations.

You will monitor EHS metrics, lead audits, train staff, and collaborate with plant management to implement ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and related standards while supporting continuous improvement and safe production. Travel to customer sites will be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in EHS or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in EHS.
• 3–5 years of experience in the automotive industry.
• Equivalent work experience or professional certifications (CSP, CIH, CHMM, Registered Nurse, etc.) may be considered.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites, including industrial manufacturing plants.
• Experience managing regulatory compliance in OSHA, worker’s compensation, environmental and ergonomics.
• ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, ISO 45001 requirements including training and record keeping.

Responsibilities

• Eliminate the risk of occupational injury and illness, and environmental non-compliance in a manufacturing environment.
• Lead, direct, evaluate and develop a team of EHS professionals.
• Implementation of EHS systems according to norms ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and OHSAS.

Bachelor's Level Degree

Area of Study: EHS or related field.

3-5 Minimum Years of Experience in EHS.

3-5 Minimum Years of Experience within the automotive industry.

Must be able and willing to traveland work at customer sites, including industrial manufacturing plants which might require climbing,lifting, or working in confined spaces.

Experience of a minimum of two years in managing regulatory compliance in OSHA, worker’s compensation,manufacturing health and safety training, environmental and ergonomics.

ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, ISO 45001 requirements including internaland external customers such as OE and NGO requirements; training and record keeping requirements, ISO documentation requirements and formats.
