The position requires you to perform record reviews to ensure Patient Safety Indicators (PSIs) are accurately documented. You should possess extensive knowledge of DRG structure and coding guidelines. An ideal candidate will be able to prepare and analyze quality and financial reports, understand legal and compliance issues related to clinical documentation, communicate effectively with clinical end users, and work independently.

Position Details

Position: Manager, Document Quality and Education
Shift: Day shift, 40 hours/week, primarily remote

Experience & Education

Minimum five years of progressive coding or CDI experience. Knowledge of DRGs and clinical conditions impacting quality outcomes is required. Previous training experience with clinicians is preferred.
Education: Bachelor's Degree required

Licensures/Certifications

CCS and CDIS certification required. If only one is held, the other must be obtained within 12 months of hire.
