Caterpillar is hiring a Manager, Distribution (1st Shift) for the Aftermarket Parts Distribution Center in Morton, IL. You will supervise up to 25 staff, leading outbound shipping docks and dock support to ensure efficient, safe operations.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree or higher, strong supervisory experience, and familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, and SAP EWM. This onsite role offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities within Caterpillar.

Job Summary:

As the Manager, Distribution (1st Shift) for our Aftermarket Parts Distribution Center in Morton, IL, you will serve as a front-line leader, supervising up to 25 hourly and salaried personnel. This opening has responsibility for our Outbound Shipping Docks and Dock Support functions.

What You Will Do:

• Lead and motivate distribution center teams through coaching, training, and reinforcement to maintain a positive work environment.
• Drive operational excellence by resolving issues, improving processes, and implementing productivity, quality, and service standards.

What You Have (Basic Requirements):

What Will Set You Apart (Preferred Qualifications):

• Service Excellence: Knowledge of customer service concepts and techniques; ability to meet or exceed customer needs and expectations and provide excellent service in a direct or indirect manner.
• Distribution Center Management: Knowledge of distribution center management; ability to operate a warehouse or distribution center that handles the flow of goods from supplier to production to customer.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• Previous supervisory experience
• Previous experience with Lean and/or Six Sigma
• Familiarity with SAP EWM
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Sharepoint, OneNote, Teams, etc.)

Summary Pay Range:

$97,530.00 - $146,290.00
