The Manager, Digital Strategy and Activation plays a critical role in shaping data-driven, user-centric digital experiences for clients across a range of industries. This role bridges business goals, audience needs, and digital capabilities to define strategies that drive measurable impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of client digital strategies across web, content, platform, and campaign engagements.
- Conduct competitive analyses, stakeholder interviews, user research, and analytics reviews to inform strategic insights.
- Run strategy workshops to align stakeholders, surface goals, and build consensus around digital initiatives.
- Define prioritized, phased roadmaps that support long-term client success and internal delivery efficiency.
- Work closely with UX, design, content, development, and marketing teams to ensure strategies are actionable and aligned.
- Define KPIs, measurement frameworks, and test-and-learn plans to track and improve performance over time.
- Stay ahead of digital trends, platforms, and technologies and contribute to agency knowledge-sharing and POV development.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience leading digital strategy specifically Media and Email in an agency or consultancy environment.
- Previous experience in hands on works in one of the disciplines this role will oversee.
- Strong understanding of digital ecosystems including web, social, SEO, analytics, CRM, MarTech.
- Skilled in synthesizing complex information into simple, strategic recommendations, communicating those strategic recommendations to client executives and operating as a trusted advisor for clients.
- Experience creating strategic artifacts such as personas, journey maps, and capability roadmaps.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills.
- Comfortable facilitating sessions with senior stakeholders and multi-disciplinary teams.
- Familiarity with tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, Hotjar, Miro, or similar.
