Job description

Job Description:

The Manager of Digital Services is a leadership role responsible for guiding a team of technical professionals, including software engineers, technical analysts, and scrum masters, to manage the Intermountain Health website. This position collaborates closely with Digital Technology Services and partners with Marketing, Consumer Experience, and Operations to achieve regional and system-wide digital goals.

Essential Functions

  1. Ensure completion of software development lifecycle activities, including design reviews, unit testing, and release management.
  2. Oversee agile processes and ceremonies, adopting best practices and enterprise standards.
  3. Collaborate with design teams to document technical architecture and implementation requirements.
  4. Develop and assess digital workplans based on enterprise objectives, business plans, and consumer/caregiver needs, utilizing quantitative and qualitative data.
  5. Implement, manage, and prioritize digital workplans and team capacity.
  6. Continuously improve website performance based on consumer and caregiver insights and other data.
  7. Prioritize and drive multiple projects independently and collaboratively.
  8. Manage complex, matrixed digital projects from conception through launch, measuring results against business needs.
  9. Build relationships with stakeholders to support digital objectives.
  10. Assist in scoping and evaluating digital projects to meet operational and strategic criteria.
  11. Support budget management.
  12. Spend up to 25% of time coding or developing custom software.

Required Qualifications

  • Seasoned coder capable of delivering software features and fixes on time and aligned with strategy.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, technology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Experience leading technical teams.
  • Expertise in React or similar JavaScript frameworks and proficiency in C#.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to see, read, and assess information, labels, and monitors.
  • Frequent verbal communication with providers, colleagues, and patients.
  • Manual dexterity for manipulating complex supplies and equipment, including frequent computer use.

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40

The hourly rate ranges from $50.22 to $77.53, depending on experience.
