Overview Of The Company

FOX Entertainment

With a legacy spanning more than 35 years, FOX Entertainment is one of the world’s most recognizable media brands and a prolific content producer across its iconic broadcast network and both owned and third‑party streaming platforms. Known for its independent, innovative spirit and provocative, groundbreaking storytelling, the company was reinvented in 2019 with the formation of FOX Entertainment. While maintaining its leadership in broadcast television (9‑1‑1: Lone Star, The Simpsons, The Cleaning Lady, Hell’s Kitchen, LEGO Masters), the company is actively building a portfolio of businesses and a library of owned original content. To date, FOX Entertainment’s long‑term growth strategy has included the acquisitions of award‑winning animation studio Bento Box Entertainment (Bob’s Burgers, The Great North, Krapopolis, Grimsburg), entertainment platform TMZ, and global production studio MarVista Entertainment (The Way Home, Rescuing Christmas), as well as the formation of the culinary and lifestyle content venture Studio Ramsay Global (Next Level Chef, Gordon Ramsay’s Food Stars) in partnership with Gordon Ramsay. The company also established its in‑house unscripted studio FOX Alternative Entertainment (The Masked Singer, Snake Oil, I Can See Your Voice, Name That Tune), FOX Entertainment Studios (Animal Control) to develop scripted content, and worldwide content sales unit FOX Entertainment Global.

This person understands that YouTube is not just a platform, but an ecosystem where content, audience behavior, and data all work together. You are someone who can balance creativity with analytics. You know how to spot what is working, understand why it is working, and then push it even further. At the same time, you are curious, proactive, and excited to keep learning as the platform evolves.

The Manager, Digital Content Distribution will help shape how our content shows up on YouTube, grow audiences, and create meaningful fan engagement that supports both creative goals and business outcomes. You should be highly collaborative and able to coordinate closely with all programming calendars, creative teams, social media team, analytics, and our YouTube agency partner.

Regular, on‑site attendance at the workplace for a minimum of four (4) days per week is an essential function of the position. The selected candidate must be able to reliably meet this requirement.

a Snapshot Of Your Responsibilities

  • Own content optimisation across titles, thumbnails, descriptions, tags, playlists, and end screens with a strong understanding of discoverability and audience behaviour
  • Partner closely with internal teams and external agencies to continuously test and improve performance across formats, including long form, clips, and Shorts
  • Use YouTube Analytics and other tools to surface insights, identify trends, and inform both creative and strategic decisions
  • Support the development of content strategies by translating data into clear, actionable recommendations
  • Maintain and evolve publishing calendars, ensuring alignment across programming, marketing, and social teams
  • Collaborate with producers, editors, and creative teams to ensure content is delivered and packaged in a way that maximises performance
  • Monitor audience sentiment and engagement, identifying opportunities to deepen fan connection and improve content strategy
  • Regularly report on channel performance, highlighting wins, learnings, and opportunities for growth to both creative and business stakeholders
  • Help define and track KPIs, ensuring channel goals are aligned with broader company objectives
  • Stay on top of platform updates, emerging trends, and best practices to keep FOX channels competitive and innovative
  • Work cross‑functionally with teams, including social, analytics, programming, and rights management to ensure seamless execution and compliance
What You Will Need
  • 2+ years of experience working in digital media, preferably managing YouTube channels for a publisher, studio, or agency
  • Experience working with YouTube Studio and analytics tools, with the ability to turn data into insights and action
  • Experience writing engaging video titles, descriptions, and social copy with an understanding of SEO principles
  • Strong understanding of YouTube as a platform, including algorithms, audience development, and content optimisation best practices
  • Strong communication skills and ability to present insights clearly to both creative and business stakeholders
  • Comfortable balancing creative instincts with performance data when making decisions
  • Highly organised and able to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment without losing attention to detail
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across teams and build strong relationships
  • Proactive and curious attitude with a desire to learn, experiment, and grow within the role
  • Genuine passion for digital content, entertainment, and evolving audience behaviour on platforms like YouTube
