Overview

Position Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Deal Desk Manager to manage the deal and order management processes and functions. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting best practices related to deal reviews, company booking requirements and order processing, as well as ongoing sales and operational support.

To thrive in this position, you must be able to foster successful partnerships with our sales, commercial operations, finance, contracting, and business operation teams in efforts to drive booking compliance, deal reviews and velocity and process optimization. The ideal candidate possesses customer-centric thinking, is process oriented, and has change management skills.

You will play a pivotal role in growing the company’s booking and revenue customer base. Your contributions will directly impact the growth and success of our organization.

What you will achieve
  • Own and manage standard deal reviews, order management processes and booking requirements.
  • Develop and manage deal desk and order processing teams and functional support.
  • Act as a central point of contact for sales, finance, contracts, and other internal departments to review requests and facilitate the deal process.
  • Review deal requests and provide Sales with deal structure and pricing guidance to optimize profitability, meet strategic corporate goals, and accelerate deal closure.
  • Review and analyze non-standard proposals, identifying risk, opportunity and appropriate exception and escalation review path.
  • Provide deal support, suggestions and ongoing training for the account acquisition teams related to deal and booking requirements and best practices.
  • Establish and maintain SOPs, reference guides, and training; ensure compliance with booking and order policies, revenue recognition readiness, and internal controls.
  • Support on-time and accurate sales order and invoicing processes.
  • Continuously identify areas for process and efficiency improvement.
What you will need to be successful
  • Experience leading or managing Deal Desk, Sales Operations or Order Management functions.
  • 5+ years working in MedTech or Biotech with SaaS management experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and establish relationships with key opinion leaders.
  • Able to dissect challenges and analyze complex data to derive insights and develop recommendations.
  • Preferred general understanding of the healthcare environment.
  • Able to work on multiple projects simultaneously and be flexible enough to change priorities with short notice when necessary.
  • Must have excellent verbal, written, analytical and presentation skills.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience in managing and motivating a team.
  • Motivation, goal orientation, and ability to deliver as well as internalize feedback.
  • A high degree of honesty and integrity while maintaining confidentiality.
Compensation

Remote: $118,000-$139,000 + Bonus + RSU

Compensation Range

$118,147 - $159,470 USD

A candidate’s final salary offer will be based on their skills, education, work location and experience, and thus it may differ from the posted range. Compensation may also include bonuses consistent with Ceribell’s corporate compensation plan.
