The manager drives alignment between enterprise priorities and product delivery, ensuring teams focus on the highest‑value outcomes and deliver measurable impact.

As a strategic leader, this role oversees the end‑to‑end data product portfolio, balancing competing priorities, investments, and dependencies across a global landscape. They enable consistent, high‑quality execution by establishing strong product management practices, clear backlogs, and outcome‑based success measures, while removing barriers and resolving cross‑functional challenges. The role is central to driving adoption, usability, and business value from data products, and ensures tight collaboration across business stakeholders, engineering, architecture, and governance teams.

Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Data Product Owners responsible for defining, prioritizing, and advancing data and analytics products.
  • Define and oversee the vision, strategy, and roadmap for data and analytics products in partnership with business and IT leaders.
  • Ensure data product roadmaps align with enterprise priorities, business strategy, and technology direction.
  • Guide product teams in translating business needs into clearly defined capabilities, release plans, and outcome‑based priorities.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand priorities, pain points, and opportunities, and facilitate ideation and discovery for new and enhanced data products.
  • Oversee the data product portfolio, including intake, evaluation, prioritization, sequencing, and investment planning across competing priorities and dependencies.
  • Work closely with engineering, architecture, analytics, and data governance teams to ensure requirements are clear, actionable, and aligned to strategic goals.
  • Ensure Data Product Owners maintain high‑quality backlogs, business cases, success measures, and release plans.
  • Remove barriers and resolve cross‑functional issues that impact product delivery, adoption, or value realization.
  • Define and monitor key performance measures for data products, including adoption, business impact, usability, quality, and stakeholder satisfaction.
Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in data, analytics, or product management roles, including delivery of data products such as dashboards, semantic models, and data platforms that drive business value.
  • 3+ years of people leadership experience managing product owners, analysts, or data professionals, with a track record of hiring, coaching, and developing high‑performing teams.
  • Proven experience defining and executing data product strategy, roadmaps, and prioritization, aligning to business goals and enterprise data strategy.
  • Strong ability to translate complex business needs into clear product requirements, capabilities, and outcome‑based delivery plans.
  • Experience managing a portfolio of data and analytics products, including intake, prioritization, dependency management, and investment planning.
  • Solid understanding of modern data ecosystems, including cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Azure), data modeling concepts, and BI/analytics tools.
  • Familiarity with data governance, data quality, and master data management practices to ensure trusted and compliant data products.
  • Experience working within Agile delivery models, including backlog management, sprint planning, and cross‑functional collaboration.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence business and IT leaders and drive alignment across global teams.
  • Proven ability to define and track product success metrics such as adoption, business impact, usability, and quality.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
