Job Description

The person who fills this role will work in a regional capacity across Publicis Creative and Digital Experiences in the United States. They will have the opportunity to grow as a privacy professional. This role’s primary responsibility is to ensure that data privacy principles are implemented into all areas of the business. This position will have knowledge of data privacy laws that are applicable to the advertising industry.

Responsibilities
  • Support the implementation and management of the Data Privacy Program for Publicis Creative and Digital Experiences in the United States
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders on client data privacy questions and requests
  • Foster connection and collaboration among stakeholders to support and strengthen the organization's commitment to data privacy
  • Coordinate required data privacy deliverables, communicating and monitoring adherence to best practices
  • Support development of key privacy program deliverable such as:
    • Status reports for executive leadership
    • Training and awareness presentations and documentation
    • Presentations for internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications
  • Ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels of Publicis Groupe and with clients
  • Ability to successfully multi-task and prioritize while working independently or within a group environment
  • Manage integrated multi-track projects and work stream planning
  • Demonstrate excellent listening, writing, and communication techniques
  • Ability to proactively identify problems and recommend solutions
  • Provide direction and guidance to program resources, contribute to and monitor program execution
  • Work closely with the direct supervisor to set strategy and define success criteria for privacy compliance initiatives
  • A growth mindset, demonstrating a strong desire to delve deeply into topics, enhance understanding, and identify the right follow-up questions to drive clarity and insight
  • Ability to artfully navigate a matrixed organization
  • Detail oriented with solid organizational skills, particularly the ability to meet aggressive project deadlines

ADDITIONAL SKILLS:

  • Familiarity with data privacy (GDPR, CCPA/CPRA) and privacy program management
  • IAPP certification or willingness to obtain within 6 months of employment
  • Expert-level Excel knowledge
  • Experience in OneTrust or other privacy/compliance applications
  • High degree of emotional intelligence, courtesy, adaptability, and excellent work ethic
  • Comfortable speaking in front of large groups, in person and via web conference

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant subject or equivalent work experience

Compensation Range: $73,910 - $116,380 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
