Job description

Company description

With a history that dates back over 80 years, Starcom is a global communications planning and media leader. We are an agency still grounded in our founding principle that people are at center of all we do. Each day, we apply this belief to harness the transformative power of data and technology to inspire and move people and business forward. With more than 7,000 employees in over 100 offices around the world, Starcom partners with the world's leading marketers and brands, including Bank of America, Best Buy, Kellogg Company, McDonald's, Novartis, Samsung, Visa and more.

This role at Starcom will serve as a member of Publicis Groupe's strategic internal agency, Constellation.

Constellation serves as an internal-facing brand formed by a collective of Publicis Groupe agencies to address our client's creative, data, strategy, media, and technology requirements. Team members collaborate across agencies while functioning as sub-divisions within their respective brands to provide dedicated support for the client. By acting as a unified interface, Constellation eliminates operational silos and presents a single service entity and primary point of contact for the client.

Overview

The Manager, Data Operations and Reporting is a key member of the Data Reporting and Management team, responsible for owning and managing the end-to-end processes that support the collection, standardization, cleansing, consolidation, and governance of global paid media datasets. Reporting to the Director, this role partners with cross-functional teams, local market stakeholders, and external data providers to ensure data is accurate, scalable, and analysis-ready, enabling high-quality reporting, insights, and strategic decision-making.

A primary responsibility of this role is the design, execution, and continuous improvement of global data workflows. The Manager will oversee the full data lifecycle, from source collection through final delivery, ensuring consistency, quality, and operational excellence across markets. Building and optimizing these processes end-to-end is a core function of the role.

While the position supports multiple data and reporting workstreams across the paid media ecosystem, there will be a significant emphasis on competitive intelligence. The Manager will be responsible for maintaining the integrity and accuracy of competitive data spend datasets, evolving methodologies and quality assurance practices, and identifying opportunities to streamline and automate existing workflows through technology and AI-driven solutions.

The ideal candidate combines strong data operations expertise, media industry knowledge, and competitive intelligence experience to transform complex datasets into actionable business insights. This individual will lead cross-functional initiatives, coordinate deliverables across globally dispersed teams, and drive operational efficiencies through process innovation, automation, and the responsible application of AI tools and agents.
