Torrid is looking for someone to join our team as a hands-on expert driving the future of data and insights. In this highly technical role, you’ll take ownership of building and optimizing data pipelines, real-time integrations, and scalable reporting solutions. You’ll work across business units to transform raw data into powerful analytics, using modern BI tools and integration platforms. What You’ll Do:
Lead large-scale projects and enterprise initiatives as a technical expert, translating complex business needs into actionable technical solutions.
Design, develop, and implement BI reports, dashboards, ETL workflows, and near real-time data processes using tools such as MuleSoft, SSIS, and Azure Data Factory.
Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate data across new and existing BI platforms.
Build tools and processes to improve data quality, accuracy, and accessibility.
Maintain and support analytics platforms, including Looker and Snowflake.
Perform unit testing, troubleshooting, and performance tuning on new and existing integration and reporting solutions.
Write and optimize database queries for in-depth data analysis and reporting.
Identify and implement opportunities for efficiency and automation in existing systems.
Create and maintain comprehensive technical and functional documentation.
Manage and implement CI/CD pipelines to streamline development and deployment.
Oversee and coordinate work with offsite vendor teams.
What You’ll Need:
5+ years of experience working with database platforms such as Snowflake, Oracle, MongoDB, or other relational/non-relational databases.
5+ years of hands-on experience with modern BI tools like Looker, Google Analytics, Power BI, or MicroStrategy.
5+ years of experience with ETL and integration technologies such as SSIS, Python, Azure Data Factory, DataStage, BizTalk, or MuleSoft.
7+ years of experience in dynamic, fast-paced IT environments, ideally within high-growth or multi-functional teams.
2+ years of experience in the retail industry with a solid understanding of product lifecycle management, inventory control, and omnichannel sales/demand workflow
