What You Will Achieve

The Manager, Data and Analytics Engineer, Enabling Functions, AI and Data Analytics (AIDA) will be responsible for executing technical strategies and developing digital analytics solutions to support colleagues across Finance, People Experience, Legal, Compliance, and other Enabling Functions.

They will be part of an agile team designing, developing, and maintaining our data infrastructure and Visier People Analytics platform, ensuring data quality and modeling using tools such as Snowflake, Visier, Python, Airflow, and dbt.

Role Responsibilities
  1. Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-native data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.
  2. Collaborate with data scientists, solution architects, analysts, and stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
  3. Manage Visier security design, including user accounts, roles, and permissions, ensuring appropriate access control.
  4. Conduct platform and security audits, document SOPs, and ensure compliance.
  5. Lead issue resolution with support teams, investigate data pipeline issues, and coordinate remediation.
  6. Implement data quality checks and monitoring for data accuracy and reliability.
  7. Optimize data storage and retrieval for performance and efficiency.
  8. Manage and process large datasets using cloud-based platforms and tools.
  9. Ensure data security and compliance with regulations.
  10. Troubleshoot data issues and support end-users.
  11. Create and maintain technical documentation.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 5+ years of experience, or a Master’s degree with 3+ years, or an Associate's with 8+ years, or a Ph.D. with minimal experience, or 10 years of relevant experience with a high school diploma.
  • Experience with Visier People Analytics platform, data pipelines, and security management.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with relational/non-relational databases (Snowflake, Redshift, PostgreSQL).
  • Proficiency in Python, Java, R, or Scala.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Knowledge of data quality, data modeling, and security best practices.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with DevSecOps, CI/CD, and automated testing.
  • Knowledge of DataOps, version control, and monitoring.
  • Familiarity with microservices, Spark, Hadoop, Airflow, and open-source tools.
  • Experience with data visualization (Tableau, Power BI).
  • Understanding of machine learning and data science concepts.
