Job summary

Qvest US, a global leader in technology and business consulting for media and consumer industries, seeks a seasoned Manager in Data & Analytics to ensure integrated, high-quality data across systems and business units.

You will lead hands-on data work (SQL/Python), build visuals (Tableau/Power BI/Looker), and guide end-to-end data pipelines using Snowflake, Databricks, and cloud platforms. Strong consulting experience and stakeholder communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in project management, process, implementation, system integration, and SDLC.
• 7+ years in a consulting or data-focused role with expert SQL experience across major platforms.
• Hands-on experience with self-service BI tools (Tableau/Power BI/Looker).
• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead hands-on development by coding in SQL and Python, create data visualizations, and design data models.
• Design, deploy, and optimize end-to-end data pipelines and analytics environments (BigQuery, Looker).
• Lead projects and teams through all core phases: setup, requirements, design, development, testing, deployment.

Who We're Seeking

Qvest is seeking an experienced Manager specialized in Data & Analytics to support our enterprise data architecture. In this role, you will ensure seamlessly integrated, high-quality data across systems and business units. We are looking for a hands-on technical data consultant who can successfully work across projects, teams, and stakeholders.

What You'll Do

• Lead the team through hands-on development by coding in SQL and occasionally Python, creating data visualizations in Tableau, Power BI, or similar, and designing data models in platforms such as Snowflake and Databricks

• Lead the design, deployment, and continuous optimization of end-to-end data pipelines and analytical environments using BigQuery, Cloud Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and Looker

• Lead projects & teams through all core project phases, including project setup, requirements gathering, design, development, testing and deployment

• Facilitate workshops, provide status updates, and lead meetings across the executive levels of client organizations

• Ensure user satisfaction through consistent support and high-quality project execution

• Understand, develop and articulate complex business challenges into actionable plans with clear and concise communication

• Proactively identify risks, issues and provide mitigation strategies

• Contribute to internal growth initiatives including mentorship, recruitment, strategy and/or methodology enhancement

What You'll Bring

• 5+ years Project Management, Process, Implementation, System Integration, and SDLC experience working closely with data professionals in an Agile environment

• 7+ years in a consulting or a data-focused role and expert-level experience with SQL in particular in platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, Teradata, Redshift, BigQuery, MS SQL Server or similar

• Hands-on experience with business driven / self-service BI, using tools similar to Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc

• Eagerness to help build & lead in a best-in-class data practice

• Experience designing and building relational database and/or data warehouses

• A Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Media & Entertainment and/or Consumer Products industries

• Experience at a large consulting firm (e.g., Accenture, Deloitte, EY, CapGemini, PWC)

• Cloud computing experience, whether with AWS or other vendors

• Ability to automate data-related tasks using scripts and programming languages

• Ability to profile, explore, and analyze data to identify common data patterns

• Ability to present data solutions to business stakeholders with clear business acumen

• Familiarity with dbt (https://getdbt.com)
