Responsibilities:

Directly responsible for leading, managing, and motivating a team of cybersecurity professionals to ensure the success of the cybersecurity operations program. Supervises 24x7 cybersecurity operations and activities related to log analysis, incident response, threat hunting, use-case development, tuning, metrics, and security monitoring utilizing a wide array of security controls and toolsets. Drive strategy and projects that increase the overall growth and maturity of the cybersecurity operations program. Estimated salary range for this position is $142,599.25 - $185,379.03 per year, depending on experience.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Information Assurance, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or IT-related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in information security or infrastructure (technical) operations.
  • Experience in leading, motivating, engaging, and mentoring team members.
  • Proven experience in planning, organizing, and developing strategies for a 24x7 Security Operations Center or Managed Security Service Provider.
  • Ability to drive a team to success, promote collaboration, and be a strong leader in a dynamic environment.
  • Solid understanding and experience with intrusion detection, incident response, threat hunting, attack methodologies, tactics, protocols, and indicators of compromise.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Security certifications such as CISSP or CISM are desirable.

Minimum required experience: 10 years.
