Job summary

Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare seeks a Lead CT Technologist to supervise CT operations, ensure patient care quality, and coordinate staff schedules. You will perform routine CT exams, review special requests with Radiologists, and support the Radiology team across the hospital.

The role requires leadership experience, ARRT RT(R)(CT) certification, and Florida licensure, with a focus on safe imaging and workflow efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum: AS Degree in Radiography and ARRT RT(R)(CT) certification.
• Florida General Radiography license required.
• Prior lead or supervisory radiology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages CT Department activities and workflow.
• Oversees day-to-day operations and patient scheduling.
• Perform routine CT procedures and examinations.
• Review requisitions for special exams with Radiologist guidance.
• Support radiology department and other areas as needed.
• Utilize hospital information systems and data reporting.
• Develop performance plans and drive process improvements.

HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT

Manages and assists with the activities of the CT Departments of TMH and NE-ED ensuring orderly workflow and acceptable standards of patient care and safety. Responsible for the day-to-day operations and scheduling of patients. Performs routine CT procedures and examinations. Critiques requisitions for special request exams with guidance from the Radiologists. Assists with the activities of the Radiology Department, as well as other areas of the hospital. Knowledgeable of required information systems within the hospital. Responsible for developing performance management work plans. Identifies and implements process improvement in specific area of responsibility.

Lead CT Technologists, CT Technologists, Medical Assistant, and Rad Tech Assistants

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO APPLY

Required Education:

Minimum: Graduate of an accredited school for Radiography; AS Degree; ARRT registered in Radiography and CT: RT(R)(CT); State of Florida General Radiography’s License.

Required Experience:

Minimum: Three years experience as a Lead CT technologist; Preferred: Five (5) years experience as a CT technologist. Previous management experience

Required Certification/License/Registry:

ARRT Registered in RT (R)(CT) and State of Florida General Radiographer’s License.
