The Manager of Creative Media leads a diverse, hard-working, and efficiency-minded team of creatives who collaborate with product and content owners to create or supervise the development and production of high quality, market-leading media assets. This role requires an out-of-the-box thinker who understands and advocates for the integrity of the creative process and the desired impact on the end user. They work in tight collaboration with product management, user experience design, instructional design and engineering to understand the end goal and produce creative content that delivers on the goals. They act as a player-coach and actively engage in the production of the work as well as directing a team of creatives. They ensure their team has the tools, skills, business context, and connections to improve the impact of their work. This role ensures their team is empowered to handle assigned projects in a dynamic environment, with a focus on delivering assets that meet or exceed the defined requirements.

What You'll Do Here

  • Lead and provide creative direction across a team of media producers that communicates "big picture" thinking and innovation in production.
  • Collaborate on strategic media production opportunities that drive product and business strategy.
  • Engage deeply in the details of the work, while inspiring and energizing your team to deliver creative and innovative assets that support the learning process.
  • Drive the media production strategy and continue to evolve to our future vision!
  • Mentor, cultivate and develop talent to empower the team to stay apprised of industry changes, constantly learn, and grow as individuals

Skills You Will Need Here

  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree, certification, or relevant experience
  • 8 years’ proven experience in media, demonstrating mastery of research and production principles
  • 2+ years’ of people leadership experience with demonstrated excellence building and leading teams
  • Proven success at developing collaborative working relationships at all levels
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate creative strategy to non-creative team members; to interpret and translate complex information to teams and individuals; and to report effectively to management
  • Highly technical skills in all aspects of media, with a strong focus on production and editing

The full base pay range has been provided for this position. Individual base pay will vary based on work schedule, qualifications, experience, internal equity, and geographic location. Sales roles often incorporate a significant incentive compensation program beyond this base pay range.
