SHEIN is hiring a leader in operations finance reporting to Director of Operations Management based in Seattle. OM team is a group of operational leaders driving KPI management, tracking actual operation performance versus plan, and reporting the corresponding cost drivers, dive deep on savings opportunities and helping to hold the business owners accountable. You will use solid operation knowledge and business acumen to build data analytical models, interpret data, draw conclusions, and make recommendations at an insightful level that brings the teams on the same page, prioritize programs and resource, drive improvements, and deliver results.

You will need an understanding of the complexity of the fulfillment and transportation network and the underlying risks associated with changing a number of network metrics, evaluating the tradeoffs of improvement and impact on the overall network. Ownership also includes influencing both direct business partners within US Fulfillment Network, as well as business partners across the Global Logistics and Supply Chain. This team also owns measuring the impact of various projects, return of investments, and other decisions on key strategic initiatives and is able to influence decision making to balance these and cost.

The OM team is responsible for all management reporting, planning, and corporate level operation integration programs, increasing cost visibility and providing impactful cost insights. The team aims to deliver challenging savings goals and developing a strong mechanism to hold the team accountable and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Operations and other support teams, provide cost and analytical insights to drive optimal decisions, and drive continuous improvements in performance and financials
  • Monitor forecast accuracy, understand drivers of variances, and provide insightful commentary & analysis for both current period and future periods
  • Perform ad-hoc business analyses, and financial modeling; facilitate financial reviews with business group and work with business leaders to ensure effective finance and cost management
  • Identify financial improvements, deep dive on cost structures, and analyze business opportunities with a keen eye on scaling for future growth and driving profitable returns;
  • Analyze actual operating results and identify key financial and operating issues to be addressed; quantify actual results versus budget or forecast and ensure that cost controls are in place to monitor actual spending versus budget;
  • Partner with the HQ finance team to produce monthly and quarterly business updates for the head of US Fulfillment and other leadership team;
  • Create standardized models to calculate impact of business drivers on efficiency of labor

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel, Tableau, and large data handling skills highly preferred
  • Bachelor's degree and above in data analysis, business analysis or related field;
  • 5+ years of cost or financial analysis experience in top E-commerce or related industry; be familiar with logistics and supply chain in the US;
  • Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders;
  • Experienced in developing budgets and forecasts and other financial planning responsibilities;
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment similar to a high-tech start-up; Works well under pressure with the ability to prioritize competing deliverables;
  • Strong people partnership skills with the ability to work effectively on cross-functional teams;
  • Proficient oral and written communication skills.

Pay

Anual Base: $78,000-113,000
