GENERAL FUNCTION:

The Manager, Corporate Strategy works closely with leaders and key stakeholders to drive strategic initiatives and programs. Responsible for the development and implementation of business strategies as well as managing analysis, research, quantitative analysis, and modeling that support the client's strategic plan.

Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues, ensuring actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank's risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Identify and analyze opportunities and develop targeted research plans given broad research tasks with loosely defined objectives.
  2. Develop strategic, fact-based, and market intelligence benchmarking to highlight customer and competitor trends, financial analysis, business practices, and macro issues with potential to address enterprise-wide priorities.
  3. Structure complex and ambiguous problems, synthesize insights, develop innovative business strategies, and make supported recommendations.
  4. Select and effectively execute appropriate quantitative analysis techniques for the problem at hand.
  5. Create processes, tools, and frameworks to enable a consistent strategic planning process across the organization.
  6. Tailor communications in method and tone based on the audience and purpose, ensuring effectiveness.
  7. Facilitate meetings and working sessions with mid- to senior-level leadership.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide employees with timely, candid, and constructive performance feedback; develop employees to their fullest potential; provide challenging opportunities; develop talent pools for succession planning; recognize and reward accomplishments.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED:
  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related field; MBA or Master's preferred.
  • Background in management consulting or banking with 4-6 years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Ability to manage people, vendors, processes, capital, and time effectively to achieve goals.
  • Ability to build relationships based on value, not title or authority.
  • Experience managing multiple complex projects with proven results.
  • Experience implementing strategic and operational change initiatives.
  • Ability to operate in environments emphasizing accountability and teamwork.
  • Sense of urgency and drive for results, with effective partnership with senior leadership.
  • Proven ability to collaborate and influence senior leadership and peers to support growth and financial results.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.

The base salary for this role ranges from $94,500 to $203,200 annually, based on factors like role, skills, experience, education, and location. The role is also eligible for incentive compensation based on performance.
