Job summary

Sun Pharma is seeking a Manager, Corporate Meetings & Events in Princeton to lead strategic planning, execution, and evaluation of internal and external corporate meetings and events. You will partner with cross-functional teams to drive objectives, messaging, and attendee engagement while ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, Business or related field.
  • 6–8+ years of experience managing large-scale corporate events, preferably in pharma/healthcare.
  • Proficient in CVENT platform.
  • Certified Meetings Professional (CMP) credential preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical industry compliance requirements and meeting regulations.
  • Ability to manage multiple budgets and vendors simultaneously.
  • Excellent project management, organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute annual meetings/events strategy aligned with business goals.
  • Collaborate with Commercial, Marketing, Sales, Medical Affairs, Market Access and Corporate Communications.
  • Lead end-to-end planning of meetings, leadership meetings, product launches and advisory boards.
  • Oversee venue selection, contracts, registration, housing, transportation, F&B, onsite operations.
  • Manage ancillary meetings and attendee experience initiatives for seamless delivery.
  • Coordinate materials, inventory, shipping, storage and distribution.
  • Ensure compliance with Sun Pharma policies, SOPs and industry regulations.
  • Manage relationships with vendors, agencies, DMCs and event tech providers.
  • Negotiate contracts and service agreements to optimize quality and cost.
  • Manage and reconcile event budgets, forecast costs and identify savings.
  • Process contracts, purchase orders, invoices and compliance docs.
  • Serve as onsite lead coordinating internal teams, vendors and stakeholders.
  • Measure event effectiveness via attendee feedback and post-event reporting.
  • Capture lessons learned and implement best practices for future programs.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and new event solutions.

Job Summary

The Manager, Corporate Meetings & Events is responsible for the strategic planning, execution, and evaluation of internal and external corporate meetings and events across Sun Pharma. This role ensures all events support business objectives, commercial strategies, and organizational priorities while delivering exceptional attendee experiences in full compliance with company policies and industry regulations. The Manager partners closely with cross‑functional stakeholders to manage the full event lifecycle, from early planning and logistics development through onsite execution and post‑event reporting.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute an annual meetings and events strategy aligned with brand objectives, therapeutic area priorities, and overall business goals.
  • Collaborate with Commercial, Marketing, Sales, Medical Affairs, Market Access and Corporate Communications, to define event objectives, messaging, and attendee engagement strategies.
  • Lead end‑to‑end planning and execution of meetings and events, including national sales meetings, leadership meetings, product launches, advisory boards, training programs, and corporate events.
  • Oversee all logistical components, including venue selection, contract negotiations, registration management, housing, transportation, food and beverage, and onsite operations.
  • Manage ancillary meetings, executive hospitality programs, and attendee experience initiatives to ensure seamless event delivery.
  • Coordinate event materials, inventory management, shipping, storage, and distribution processes where applicable.
  • Ensure compliance with all Sun Pharma policies, SOPs, and applicable industry regulations, including FDA, PhRMA, and Sunshine Act requirements.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors, agencies, production partners, destination management companies, and event technology providers.
  • Initiate contracts and service agreements to optimize quality, cost efficiency, and risk mitigation while maintaining strong supplier partnerships.
  • Manage and reconcile event budgets; monitor expenditures, forecast costs, and identify opportunities for savings and operational efficiencies.
  • Process contracts, purchase orders, invoices, and compliance documentation in accordance with company policies and financial procedures.
  • Serve as the primary onsite event lead, directing internal teams, vendors and stakeholders to ensure flawless execution.
  • Measure event effectiveness through attendee feedback, business outcomes and post‑event reporting.
  • Conduct post‑event evaluations, identify lessons learned, and implement best practices to continuously improve program quality and impact.
  • Stay informed of industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovative event solutions to enhance attendee engagement and operational effectiveness.

Education And Job Qualification
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, Business, or a related field.
  • 6–8+ years of experience managing large‑scale corporate events, preferably within pharmaceuticals, healthcare, or life sciences.

  • Certified Meetings Professional (CMP) credential preferred.

  • Ability to travel and support events onsite as required.

The presently‑anticipated base compensation pay range for this position is $110,500 to $135,000. Actual base compensation may vary based on a number of factors, including but not limited to geographical location and experience. In addition, this position is part of the Annual Performance Bonus Plan. Employees are eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs which include medical, dental and vision coverage; life insurance; disability insurance; 401(k) savings plan; flexible spending accounts; and the employee assistance program. Employees also receive various paid time off benefits, including vacation time and sick time.
