This role is designed for a highly independent and well‑rounded strategic leader who can flex across multiple domains, including strategic initiatives, business insights, investor relations, and M&A and investments. It will be a highly visible role, with frequent engagement with SIE’s leadership team, and close collaboration with various stakeholders to help solve some of the business’s most important strategic priorities that will shape the future of SIE and PlayStation.

The ideal candidate is a structured thinker and strong executor who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, can manage multiple high‑priority workstreams, is comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders across global teams, and has a keen interest in driving innovation in gaming.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Finance & Corporate Strategy
    • Support development and articulation of SIE’s corporate strategy and mid‑ and long‑range planning
    • Develop executive‑level materials (e.g. strategy updates, board presentations, CEO briefings)
    • Partner with business units to evaluate strategic initiatives, business cases, and capital allocation decisions
  • Cross‑Functional Project Leadership
    • Lead or support high‑impact, cross‑functional initiatives on behalf of senior leadership
    • Drive alignment across global stakeholders and functions
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects with strong attention to detail, timelines, and stakeholder communication
  • Investor Relations & Executive Communications
    • Support investor relations activities, including earnings material preparation, investor presentations, and story development
    • Translate complex financial and strategic topics into clear, compelling narratives for internal and external stakeholders
    • Assist in responding to investor inquiries and preparing senior leadership for external engagements
  • M&A, Investments & Integration
    • Support due diligence and transaction execution for acquisitions, investments, or partnerships as needed
    • Contribute to integration planning and execution, including Day 1 readiness and tracking of value creation initiatives
    • Develop frameworks and KPIs to monitor performance of acquired or invested businesses
  • Investment Value Creation & Management
    • Lead investment reviews to assess performance against investment thesis and identify lessons learned
    • Track and report on strategic and financial outcomes of investments
    • Help refine internal processes, playbooks, and tools across the investment lifecycle
Qualifications
  • 5-8+ years of relevant experience in a highly analytic and strategic role, ideally in investment banking, management consulting, transaction advisory (Big 4 or equivalent), corporate development, strategic finance, investor relations, or similar roles
  • Strong generalist toolkit with experience spanning strategy, finance, and/or operations
  • Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills, including financial modeling and business case development
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex topics into clear, executive‑ready materials
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects autonomously and adapt to evolving business priorities
  • Experience supporting and coordinating executive forums and leadership communications in a fast‑paced setting
  • Experience and/or passion for technology, gaming, media and entertainment
  • Collaborative, low‑ego team player with strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence across functions and cultures
  • High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • BA/BS required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred
