Job summary

Davidson Hospitality Group in Atlanta, GA, seeks a Manager Corporate Accounts Payable to oversee payment processing for Davidson and managed hotels. You will lead a small team, ensure timely, accurate liabilities payments, and report to the Director of Hotel Accounting.

Applicants should have a four-year degree (accounting preferred), 5+ years in accounting, supervisory experience, strong GAAP/USALI knowledge, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Degree from a four-year college preferred, preferably with a concentration in accounting.
• Five years of related experience, preferably in the hotel industry.
• Prior supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of accounts payable, double-entry accounting (debits and credits), accruals, balance sheet reconciliations, ownership reporting, critical accounting systems, cash management, capital expenditures.
• Experience training entry-level team members, and new hires.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and the Uniform System of Accounts for the Lodging Industry (USALI).

Responsibilities

• Process payment requests accurately and timely for Davidson Hospitality Group and managed hotels/resorts.
• Monitor and guide the team's performance; report to the Director of Hotel Accounting.
• Maintain accuracy in liabilities payments and departmental accounting records.
• Support month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations as needed.

Overview

Manager Corporate Accounts Payable is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of requests for payment of all types, and accurate payment of liabilities for Davidson Hospitality Group and its managed hotels and resorts. The role is responsible for its own performance of these duties as well as monitoring and guiding the team's performance. The Manager Corporate Accounts Payable will report to the Director Hotel Accounting.

This is a hybrid position based out of our Dunwoody office, with an in-office requirement of three to four days per week, after successful onboarding.
