Overview

Design Group is an industry‑leading system integrator. In this role, you will join a team of 1,500 professionals across 45 U.S. offices and work directly with clients to deliver high‑quality control system integration solutions.

What You’ll Do

• Lead a team of electrical and controls engineers across multiple industries through the entire project life cycle, from conception to start‑up.
• Define complex solutions for multiple system integration projects, assign teams, monitor progress, create and enforce technical standards, and manage scheduling, planning, and oversight.
• Interface with project teams and clients to ensure alignment with project objectives.
• Coordinate project workloads and activities; work with regional offices to develop and modify methods and procedures.
• Recruit, motivate, and mentor team members; develop training objectives and strategies.
• Communicate project updates clearly and effectively to stakeholders.
• Take responsibility for day‑to‑day project impact, strengthening relationships with clients and internal teams.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Bring

• Minimum nine years of combined technical and people‑management experience.
• Experience overseeing projects that incorporate engineering, design, and programming of integrated and automated manufacturing systems.
• Proficiency in developing electrical schematics, PLC programming, and HMI/SCADA.
• Ability to design and deploy OT network and virtual infrastructure systems.
• Capacity to support proposal development.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong leadership, teamwork, partnering, and mentoring abilities.
• Willingness to travel for project requirements, including installation, start‑up, client meetings, trainings, and industry events.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or related field.

Additional Responsibilities

• Administer operations in accordance with company policies, priorities, and budget constraints set by senior management.
• Implement effective engineering methods and provide technical guidance as a resource for engineers.
• Ensure components, materials, and tools are used to capacity.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
