Overview

Manager Contracting — Remote. Candidates residing in Alaska, Washington, Montana, Oregon, California, and the greater Lubbock, Texas area are encouraged to apply.

The Contracting Manager leads a team of contracting specialists who draft, negotiate, and help operationalize clinician employment and services agreements at Providence entities. In addition to direct management responsibilities, the manager is the primary point of contact and subject matter expert for regional executives who are negotiating agreements and will identify, escalate, and operationalize necessary improvements to contract templates, contracting workflows, and governance documents.

As a leader in this space, we expect our top candidate to have a strong working knowledge of Stark, Anti-Kickback, and other relevant healthcare contracting compliance requirements, familiarity with provider compensation structures and methodologies, and experience implementing and managing complex contracting software.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
  • 5 years experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal language in a fast-paced environment.
  • 4 years experience in a leadership role, with or without direct reports.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in a related field, or
  • Juris Doctorate Degree
  • 5 years experience in a healthcare setting with responsibility for regulatory compliance.
