Qualifications

The Compliance Program Manager is responsible and accountable to assist in the implementation, evaluation and monitoring of the Corporate Compliance Program & Plan across the Organization. Provides support to affiliate leadership and clinical staff to meet regulatory requirements and manages risk situations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in nursing/health care or related field, or an equivalent combination of work experience and education; Master's Degree in healthcare field preferred
• Current Florida license as RN, current active single-state out-of-state nurse license, or current active multistate/compact nurse license
• HCCA Certification preferred or within one year of taking position
• Minimum of five (5) years' experience utilizing knowledge of compliance and risk
• Minimum of one (1) year of management/supervisory experience
• Strong business foundation with proven analytical and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated skills in fiscal management, utilization of analytical and statistical tools, data analysis, and outcomes management
• Working knowledge of State and Federal regulations
• Knowledgeable in Joint Commission Hospice Standards and the National Patient Safety Goals
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (in English)
• Skilled in management of group dynamics and conflict resolution
• Knowledge of and ability to apply process improvement theory and process mapping
• Computer knowledgeable and competent with statistical applications and graphics
• Able to prioritize multiple job responsibilities, exercise critical thinking skills, and effectively handle stress

• Serves as a subject matter expert (SME) for all current Federal, Joint Commission, state and local laws pertaining to hospice and home health, as well as other lines of business. Provides consultation and acts as a resource to staff regarding regulations.
• Manages compliance activities to meet requirements and implements approved organizational practices as appropriate.
• Works with other department leaders and staff to integrate compliance, performance improvement, and pertinent Joint Commission activities for the Organization.
• Manages the Clinical, Technical and Admission Auditors in their day-to-day responsibilities and prepares compliance monitoring/auditing reports for the Senior Director of Compliance.
