Make-A-Wish America is seeking a Compliance Auditor to conduct chapter compliance audits and clearly communicate findings, offering corrective action recommendations. The role collaborates with chapters to strengthen compliance through practical guidance, education, and follow-up.

You will work with executive leadership and staff to raise standards, manage risks, and support enterprise risk initiatives while operating in a remote/hybrid setup.

Qualificações

• Minimum 5 years of work experience in nonprofit compliance and/or audit.
• Experience in nonprofit compliance and/or audit field preferred.
• Experience working with Microsoft Office applications.
• Database data entry and reporting required.

Remote positions are open to applicants based anywhere in the continental U.S. Hybrid positions are open to applicants based in the Phoenix, Arizona area.

Position Summary:

As part of the Make-A-Wish America Compliance team, this position will conduct chapter compliance audits and clearly communicate findings and recommend corrective actions. This role partners with chapters to strengthen compliance through practical guidance, education, and follow-up and contributes to other risk management initiatives.

Knowledge and Abilities:

• Work professionally with employees, chapters, and all levels of staff; including executive leadership.
• Exceptional project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong analytical, research and critical thinking capabilities.
• Sound judgment and discretion in handling highly confidential and sensitive information.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present findings and recommendations clearly.

Working Conditions:

• Ability to thrive in a remote environment.
• Travel required for internal meetings and chapter visits - approximately 20%.
• May require work outside a traditional Monday - Friday work week, and outside normal business hours.

This Role's Hiring Range

$63,200 - $70,000 USD
